SENIOR WEB DEVELOPER
Salary Range: $100k-$120K

Genius Rocket is searching for an outstanding web developer to join our start-up team of technology enthusiasts. This position will be responsible for developing and extending our innovative web-basedcommunity platform for professionals in the creative industry.

Our developers work closely with the business team to develop specifications and extend the existing platform. Programming, graphic design and database administration are all elements of this position.

What you’ll need:

• BS in computer science or a related field, or significant equivalent experience.
• 5 years minimum experience with HTML/XHTML and CSS.
• 4 years minimum Web programming experience, including PHP, ASP or JSP.
• 2 year minimum experience working with relational database systems
such as MySQL, MSSQL or Oracle and a good working knowledge of SQL
• Self-starter with strong self-management skills.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds (Apple laptops can be heavy!)

Other things we get excited about:

• Development experience using extensible web authoring tools.
• Experience developing and implementing open source software projects.
• UNIX shell experience and a working knowledge of Subversion, CVS or related tools.
• Knowledge of the Drupal content management system.
• Experience with AJAX a plus.
• A sense of humor!
