I'm interested in possibly starting some logo exploration for your company Vapor Fresh. Could you please let me know what you envision your color palette to be? Are you also open to a lock up with the initials "VF?" Thank you.

I do not really have a vision of the color pallet. I am trying to have as few restrictions as possible so I can get many different, creative ideas. As far as shape, I would prefer some sort of circular shape overall. I will post links of examples in the Project Summary shortly.

I would also like the entire name in the logo, not just VF. Since I am bringing a new product to the market, I want the logo to be easily recognizable with the name.

What color and shape are the bottle? Or is that part of what you want in the Logo design? Also, what does the product smell like, and does it come in different odors, and if so what are the names of the different versions?

I just wonder wheter awards will be delivered even if you decide not to move forward with any of the logos or not? Or it is just a free pitching in the name of competition, just like the other contest?

You had mentioned that you prefer a circular shape to the logo. What type of bottle with this label/logo be applied to?

I will post a picture of the bottle soon. But for now, it is a 32oz. clear plastic bottle with a white trigger sprayer.

Yes, I do like the circular logos, but what I was trying to say is that I like logos that are full, and not just decorated words. Width and height is good. If you can make it work in a circular shape, great, if not, thats fine too.

What is your preferred format to view submissions?

Sorry to repeat the earlier question but I didn't see it answered. Does this product have a particularly distinct odor? "spearmint" or "ocean fresh" or what-have-you, or is a neutral odorless sanitizing spray?

Its going to be a CLEAR plastic bottle? Is that a final decision or still being considered. If not, i'd suggest a colored bottle, preferably black, as it'd be more appealing to the eyes. Though a translucent colored bottle might be interesting as well.

I am also curious to know whether the spray has an odor to it or whether it odorless, for it will help with the choice of colors. If there are multiple odors then I can make more than one scheme, but if there is only one odor or none at all it will be easier to picture.

the presentation of the logo should be only on the wrap label or shoud i do the aplicattion on the bottle also???????????

Vapor Fresh is scented. Its very hard to explain smells through words, but Vapor Fresh smells like an all-natural, fresh, clean, and slightly nature-y.

The initial 200 bottles will be sold as a clear plastic bottle with a white label and a white trigger sprayer.

Once those are sold, I am going to move up to opaque bottles with the logo, directions, etc silk-screened directly onto the bottle.

The only thing involved in this project is the logo for Vapor Fresh. I will design everything else around that.

All clients have as much time as necessary to review their submissions and make selections. The EIEIO campaign has only been complete for one week. When a selection is made we will contact the creator directly via e-mail, and then announce the selection to the community via our blog

I did my designs in Adobe Illustrator CS2 and was wondering what the best or preferred format you would want the logo designs submitted in. Is a PDF, JPEG, or PNG what you are looking for or would a Illustrator file or Photoshop file work as well?

PDF, JPEG, PNG, or photoshop files are all fine with me. Whatever is easiest for you and will produce the best image.

And yes, you send your logo designs through the email address posted above via your own email address.

when i go to submit it asks me to upload a video? how do i put in my entry?

In an earlier entry, we were told, "As indicated in the "Guidelines" please submit via e-mail only to RawAthletics@GeniusRocket.com," so you submit it through email & not through the site.

The 5 submissions are by one person. When will we learn if you even received other submissions?

Just curious if the client is liking the logos they received so far and if they are close to a decision.

The client does like a lot of what they have received, which is part of the reason it is taking some time. They do appear close, we'll update you all on our blog when a selection is made.
