  • About:

Want to feel like a naming pro? Help us develop the name for a company offering Healthcare Safety Measurement and Improvement. (If you've ever worried that someone will accidentally leave a scalpel inside you after surgery then you're going to want to be sure you give this firm a great name. They help our healthcare system take care of us - so we think you're going to want to help take care of them.)

    Company/Brand/Product Background:

The Company-to-be-Named provides online tools for measuring the culture and attitudes within hospitals and other healthcare environments. The company's primary service discovers key issues like whether the newest nurse is comfortable preventing the most senior surgeon from making a mistake, and whether the surgeon will accept correction. The company will provide a survey tool, advice for making improvements, an online community where best practices are shared, and the ability to compare one facility's results with the global or regional averages.

    Marketing Objectives:

The name should help the company do two things:
    1) Inspire trust in the organization from the target audience of healthcare executives and providers. (Note - This is meant to be subtle. Not "Trust Us, Inc.")
    2) The name should be flexible enough that it can support the addition of future products and services for healthcare and insurance markets under its banner.

    just wonder
    Posted by lim on 5.02.08

I just wonder wheter awards will be delivered even if you decide not to move forward with any of the nameor not? Or it is just a free pitching in the name of competition, just like the other contest?

    Awards
    Posted by Drew on 5.02.08

This RFB is like the rest on the GeniusRocket site, the client will award for anything they wish to use.

    question to drew
    Posted by lim on 5.06.08

"This RFB is like the rest on the GeniusRocket site, the client will award for anything they wish to use."

So they can use it for free with just saying no one selected, grab the artwork and just give a minor change?

    @ Question
    Posted by Drew on 5.06.08

That is NOT what was said, or how things work on GeniusRocket. The client WILL pay for anything they wish to use. If they like a design, but desire tweaks they will work with the creator to have the work done.

Are you going to need a logo as well?

Just the name at this point. Thanks

    Minimum Submissions
    Posted by HeartlineTwist on 5.08.08

I know that this is probably like a Genius Rocket basic question, but what happens if the minimum number of entries isn't met? Is the whole project off? Or can the client still look at submissions and decide if they like something?

    @Minimum Submissions...
    Posted by Drew on 5.08.08

If the minimum is not met the client holds the right to A) Pick something from the batch of submissions (though it didn't reach the minimum). B) Extend the campaign to look for additional submissions. C) Cancel the campaign.
    Thanks

    Document Name
    Posted by HeartlineTwist on 5.08.08

The name of the submission form is currently YourNameHere.doc. Are we supposed to rename that to our real name, or leave it as is and just fill in our name in the form?

    @Document Name
    Posted by Drew on 5.08.08

    Either is fine.

    Multipe Submissions
    Posted by HeartlineTwist on 5.08.08

Are we allowed to make multiple submissions, or is it just one per person/team?

    @Multiple Submissions
    Posted by Drew on 5.08.08

Multiple submissions are allowed & encouraged!

    confirmation
    Posted by badmonkey on 5.14.08

Will I receive a confirmation email when I send in my submission? Will you notify me when the contest is over to say whether or not I won? Will you release the name of the winner for confirmation?

    @ Confirmation
    Posted by Drew on 5.14.08

The campaign is over when the clock on the RFB hits zero. Once the client selects a submission we will contact the creator, and will then announce the selection to the community via our blog.
    Thanks!

But I think I just rocked the socks off this one, with my submission. I say that with as much pride tempered by modesty I can muster.

    Posted by MikewAnderson on 5.14.08

i'm new to the site and have downloaded and completed my form - do i save that form as a .doc file and simply send to NTC@GeniusRocket.com when i'm done?

    re: confusion

    Timeframe for client decision
    Posted by nug789 on 5.16.08

How long does the client have to choose a winning entry after the submission time closes?

    Re: Timeframe for client decision
    Posted by Cook3791 on 5.16.08

I think its 30 days... pretty sure.

is this one finished? i just found it. :(

    Update...
    Posted by Drew on 6.25.08

The client has narrowed the entries down to their favorite 4 and is running them through Legal. We'll keep you posted.
Clients have as much time as they need to select their creator, however we do encourage them to make the decision within 30 days. We'll be attempting to shorten that period to 2 weeks upon launching our new website.
    Thanks!
