Creative BRIEF
Create a logo: to brand ccKeep, a new service for GeminiSBS.
The logo should communicate A) Strength and Security, and B) Cutting Edge Technology. Note that the name ccKeep is something of a double entendre: 1) On its most basic level, the service offers to “keep” credit card data for you, and 2) A “keep” is the most secure section of a castle. The logo doesn’t have to reference either of these ideas, but it certainly could make use of either or both.
ccKeep is a new service that allows merchants to store sensitive customer billing information – namely credit card numbers – with absolutely zero security risk or liability exposure. Having customer account information on file for later transactions is a convenience for both the merchant and the customer. It enables recurring subscription payments and it speeds the checkout process. But storing such sensitive information makes you an instant target for hackers, and the security challenges associated with protecting that data far exceed the capabilities of most online merchants. ccKeep employs patent pending technology that stores customer data remotely in a way that makes is 100% unhackable. Using a super simple API, the merchant can charge transactions to its existing customers without having to provide (or ask the customer to reveal) the full credit card number. Unlike services like Paypal or Google Checkout, ccKeep allows merchants to process transactions entirely on their own websites, without redirecting their customers to a third-party site for payment.
In addition to use in our own materials, we anticipate that the logo may be used by merchants on checkout pages to inform customers about the safety of storing their account information.

Logos are due by midnight on April 4th. There is a "Deadline for Submissions" clock in the top right-hand corner of the RFB.

how long will it take before a design is chosen?
There are 4 days left in the RFB. The company will receive the submissions at that point and will make their decision. It will likely be a week or 10 days after the RFB has ended before they make a final decision.
Is there any particular file format you'd like us to submit in? I know there's no mention of it, but just thought i'd check in.
Suppose you only get 3 submissions from people working on this project, will you still pick a winner? Thanks in advance.

A design will be picked. We did receive your submission ashleoking. In general if you submission does not bounce back, we have it. We check regularly, and if a message comes through without a working attachment we contact the creator.

A selection has not yet been made. ccKeep received over 100 submissions and is going through them now. When a selection is made we will first contact the creator, and then make an announcement to the community via our blog.
