We've been very busy lately with over $30k in awards over the last month, so we're approaching a period filled with many announcements...we want to let you all know as soon as we know, because I'm sure you all are as excited as we are!

So...here we go...

Thummit.com worked with GeniusRocket to find a copyrighter to assist them in drafting the content for their site. The team at Thummit loved the stylistic flair they saw, both in the presentation style and content, in Blake Suárez's submission. Blake was selected to receive the $200 award for his submission.

ManyWheels found the perfect combination of simplicity, relevance, motion & playfulness in a logo submitted by Carl Huber, and awarded him the $600 for their logo RFB. Carl worked with the client on 3 separate rounds of tweaks to multiple submissions (of his own) to ensure satisfaction on the client's behalf. Below is the final product:

Social Actions completed a logo RFB with us last week, and had 496 submissions! They took the process very seriously, blogging about it and soliciting feedback from their community.

With the help of their community, through their blog, they narrowed it down to 21 really great submissions, and REALLY got down to business...they created a PowerPoint presentation that had their homepage mocked up with each and every finalist (including color coordination with the logo throughout the entire page), so that they could see what each one would look like. They also took a look at each logo in black and white so that they could ensure visual integrity even without colors.

In the end they awarded KellitheDesigner's "Leave Your Imprint on Earth" the $500, the logo is shown below:

They launched their new homepage this morning with their new logo, and blogged about their choice as well. We think it looks great, and are thrilled that our community not only gave them a fantastic new look, but came through in a BIG way with nearly 500 submissions! Thanks to everyone that participate, I know first hand that this was a really tough decision in the end...and congratulations to KellitheDesigner!

SmartGuy.com has selected the team of John Hill & Brett Slater in their RFBs looking for a Promotional Video, Consumer Tutorial and Reseller Video. This pairing is a great example of the direction we would LOVE to see GeniusRocket Community head. John and Brett collaborated over long distances, John creating the animations and Brett doing the voiceover work, for a product that the client thought was perfect! The pair will split the total awards for each of the RFBs, a grand total of $2,400!

SportsPundit is still reviewing submissions to finalize their second selection, but have awarded Kirsten Lepore the $3,000 top award for their video RFB. Kirsten will be working with the client on a final product to be utilized by SportsPundit to grow their community. You can see her submission below:
